A Praise for Ayanature!

A new discover, a lifetime one. Ayanature is an online beauty store created by Ariane who has decided to ethically sell natural organic products. Why am I so enthusiastic about her? She is an incredibly smart marketer and seller, she perfectly knows how to engage new customers and create a fidelity connection with them. How? If you place an order on Ayanature, you'll receive your goods in a cute gift paper bag with a tiny note on it saying 'Thank you' (unconsciously you'll feel special). Then you'll find inside samples (always welcomed) and adhesives of her mascot, the cutiest animal shown above.
Who knows a little about marketing and selling psychology will certainly recognize that all this just works!
So after praising Ariane ^^, I'll show you what I purchased...

A vegetal Silicone?

Everyone knows the apparent wonders of silicone: it makes your skin feel soft and smooth, your hair shiny and silky. Yes, it just makes them appear like that, but really does nothing to repair and moist them. A lot of people keep on ignoring this fact and use silicone-based cosmetics with satisfaction. Moreover a lot of people don't know it is extremely pollutant because it is not biodegradable. You maybe just don't care about the surrounding nature, because you just can't live without your synthetic cosmetics that in your opinion make their job. So listen, what if I told you that you might have the same effect of silicones with a natural alternative?!

Sophyto Tocotrienol Super Skin Concentrate

Months ago I purchased a sample of this serum on Naturisimo, actually we are talking about a Deluxe sample (9.50£ for 10ml) -.-'
Since I read impressive reviews on this oil I told myself 'You gotta try it, if what they say is real you'll be glad to have spent that money, if not you'll be able to stop people from buying it, blinded by the hope of a hypothetical miracle product'.
Let me first write down the list of ingredients:

prunus armeniaca (apricot) seed oil, punica granatum (pomegranate) seed oil, rubus idaeus (raspberry) seed oil, vaccinum oxycoccos (cranberry) seed oil, rosa canina (rosehip) seed oil, tocopherol, ubiquinone (Coenzyme Q10), rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract

I think the INCI talks by itself, there are 8 well chosen ingredients, mixed for protecting and smoothing skin's surface and delivering more radiant looking skin. This is all true, we are not talking about a miracle, we are dealing with the powerful properties of natural ingredients. This serum features a bunch of vegetal oils known for their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, illuminating properties, no surprise then if it works, it would have been actually if it didn't!
What I want to discuss in here is if it's worth to spend 35£ for 30ml of serum. It is if you are a lazy-give-me-everything-ready type of person, since this bottle will last you several months, you just need a drop per application.
But if you like preparing your beauty products, here you have a list of the ingredients and their related costs on Aroma-zone, my reliable natural beauty supplier:

- Apricot seed oil  9.20€ (250ml)
- Pomegranate seed oil (CO2 extract) 4.50€ (10ml)
- Cranberry seed oil 5.50€ (30ml)
- Rosehip seed oil (rosa rubiginosa) 11.50€ (100ml)
- Tocopherol 2.50€ (5ml)
- Coenzyme Q10 4.20€ (5ml)
- Rosemary leaf extract 4.50€ (10ml)
Usually Pomegranate seed oil is used at a low percentage, around 5%. This means that probably 90% of the serum is abricot oil, the cheapest of the list. The other ingredients will be in increasingly smaller amounts until the rosemary extract, usually used at 0.2%.
After these considerations, I might gladly tell you that the total cost of 30ml of Tocotrienol is less than 5€, if you wanna be more precise, just add 1€ for pouring it in a nice bottle. That's all.
I hope this was helpful.

EccoVerde Haul!

Some days ago I received this supercute pack from EccoVerde. I'm always satisfied with the speed they send orders and the care that they show in packing your stuff, I love them :)

Here is a list of what I purchased:

I've already tried them, but I need more time to make a complete review on each of these products. If you are interested in knowing my opinion on one of them in particular, just let me know!
Moreover they kindly sent to me three samples of Martina Gebhardt creams, a brand that has never appealed me so much because of the formulas of its products, but well who knows, I will certainly try them :)

Have a wonderful day!

Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow All Over Radiance Crème (Iced Gold)

This is one of Jemma Kidd's Best Sellers, but is it worth buying it?
Yes and no. If you already have a good natural looking highlighter, then don't purchase this one because it's not gonna give you much more.
It's a nice golden shade with almost imperceptible sparkles which gives a slight touch of light where you put it.
What impressed me most about this cream highlighter is the consistency, a dry cream which gets kinda powdery when you apply it, I like it because it's not heavy at all.

Cheers (:

Rose Hip Oil (Rosa Rubiginosa)

Today I have the pleasure to introduce one of my favorite vegetal oils, Rosa Rubiginosa Oil, which grows up wild in South America, particularly in Chile. This is one of the most evident miracles of nature! It has a subtle smell and it is easily absorbed by the skin. It contains a great quantity of fatty acids, carotene, vitamin K and E, squalane

PROPERTIES:
- it helps the cicatrizing process and reduces the appearence of scars (even post-acne ones)
- it reduces wrinkles and 'erases' fine lines
- it moisturizes and soothes your skin
- it is suitable for dry to oily skins, since it is able to both deeply moisturize and balance
- since it's rich in carotene it gives your skin a nice 'bonne mine' effect.

I think this is one of the few beauty products that's naturally very effective and multipurpose and will hopefully accompany me until my old age :)
